The Ogilvie Pavilion and Sports Ground
Welcome to the website of the The Ogilvie Pavilion and Sports Ground CIO.
A Charity, whose
remit is to provide sports and leisure facilities for the
local communities.
The Pavilion and Sports Ground are managed by a small committee of trustees for the benefit of the local communities
The Pavilion has a modest community room, served by a small kitchenette and bar plus toilets and changing facilities.
It is set together with the croquet lawn, shooting rang and cricket nets in the large sports ground which has a cricket pitch and can support football, rugby or hokey etc.
The Pavilion and Sports Ground is home to a number of user groups including, Cricket, Croquet, Rifle Shooting, Social and Fun Quiz, Pilgrims Together, Tea and Toast, Thorpeness and Aldringham Heritage Group, Use-n-Smil and the Parish Council.
A number of annual events are held hosted including, The Coastal Fun Run, Classics at The Pavilion and Marmalade Cricket Match.
