Thorpeness Croquet Club

The Thorpeness Croquet Club is located at the Ogilvie Pavilion Sports Ground. It is a thriving club and keen to welcome anyone who already plays croquet or would like to give it a try.
We offer free taster sessions.
Croquet is a game of getting four balls through six cast-iron hoops which are firmly set in the ground, with two or four mallets played on a on a grass court. Sounds easy enough?
Croquet is however a game of skill and strategy, angles, tactics, guile. A bit like snooker on grass. Will your balls get through the hoops before your opponent's?
It is played on equal terms by men and women of all ages.
We are members of the national Croquet Association and the East Anglian Croquet Federation.
